Bold architectural gestures and modern elegance underpin the design of this residence interior. Forging of the old and the new is realised in the angled natural stone portal that signals a transition from one state to another. The minimalist aesthetic and focus on perfecting the interior detail and form, celebrates this properties rich history. This idea carries through the entire house with exposed brick against new floor-to-ceiling glazing running the length of the extension’s hallway, ornate ceiling roses and strong black detail are met with sculptural light fixtures floating gracefully in the space. Natural stone receives you as you enter the master suite; it wraps and curves over you in this hideaway sanctuary. Custom furniture pieces with adventurous use of materials allows this home to spark curiosity and wonder. More images coming soon.
